WOULDN'T IT BE NICE...

...to pay one price for a vacation and enjoy it without spending another
penny? Your dreams can come true on an all-inclusive trip with Sh-Boom to
the Iberostar Quetzal resort in Playa del Carmen.  "All-inclusive" means you
don't need to spend additional money, if you choose not to, and still have
the time of your life.

Jump in to the Caribbean Sea on your first day or go sailing. You can also
windsurf, kayak, or go snorkeling.  One of four swimming pools is devoted
solely to water sports. Swim laps, try aqua-aerobics, play water volleyball,
water polo, or basketball. Try the rifle or archery range, billiards, ping
pong, or foosball. There are three tennis courts, a health center, a
gymnasium, saunas and Jacuzzi's.

If you want to relax, cabanas cover the beach and swimming pool area. The
main pool is the size of a small lake complete with coves and an island with
a hot tub. The adults-only pool features a waterfall. Stroll through the
natural jungle throughout the property where flamingos, toucans, giant
turtles, and monkeys make their home.

The food? A huge buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner is always
available and menu selections change daily. The Thursday night seafood
buffet includes all-you-can-eat lobster, shrimp, and fresh fish. Choose from
three specialty restaurants; Italian, Mexican, or a Steakhouse. The snack
bar is open from morning to night.

Okay, okay, the drinks? A plethora of bars offer unlimited frozen drinks,
cocktails, beer, and soft drinks.  A free mini-bar, in your room, is stocked
daily with bottled water, beer, and soda.

The entertainment? Sh-Boom performs three shows during the week, while the
Iberostar's entertainment crew, "The Starfriends", perform nightly.

Yes, one price covers everything mentioned above. Join Sh-Boom on a trip you
will never forget. For details, call Meritek Travel at (314)592-3900 or

BEACH PARTY!
Sh-Boom Plans Full Week of Vacation Activities in Playa Del Carmen

The wonderfully secluded and exotic Iberostar Quetzal Resort provides an
array of activities that, alone, would entertain a visitor for well more
than a week. However, guests of Sh-Boom's Spring trip to Playa del Carmen
can expect even more.
Sh-Boom will be your host for a week-long range of activities. Join
Sh-Boom's own Dyno' Dave on a golf outing, or, take-on Screamin' Scott in a
Ping Pong or Horseshoe Tournament. Experience Bad Brad's "You've Never Seen
Such Trivial Trivia", or Heartthrob Rob's "Historically Ruined Tour of the
Mayan Ruins". Of course, don't miss Sh-Boom's high seas adventure on THE
PARTY BOAT! Sh-Boom band members will also host additional activities at the
resort such as volleyball, swimming pool games, and much more.
The Mexican Riviera represents one of the most versatile vacation
destinations in the world. The shopping and nightlife Mecca of Cancun and
the sleepy island of Cozumel are only minutes away. Cozumel, with its' black
coral reef, boasts some of the best scuba diving anywhere.
Sightseers will enjoy the beautiful seaside Mayan ruins of Tulum or Chichen
Itza.  Perhaps you would like to hike the rain forest of the Upper Yucatan
Peninsula, all easily accessible from Playa del Carmen.
Finally, during the week you will be invited to private cocktail parties and
special events, plus you'll enjoy three shows by Sh-Boom-all at the fabulous
Iberostar Quetzal Resort in Playa del Carmen. For details, call Meritek
Travel at (314)592-3900 or 1-888-447-9227.

SH-BITS AND SH-BLUNDERS
Sh-Boom Gossip and Gab

Sh-Boomta Claus is coming to town! Sh-Boom made its' annual trip to Cardinal
Glennon Children's Hospital to sing for the children and staff.  WB-11 was
on hand to tape the Sh-Boom carolers which was included in a December 23rd
television broadcast highlighting the efforts of the Children's Miracle
Network.

Sh-Boom's version of Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is Coming to Town was
recorded to CD and hit the airwaves in time for the holidays. We hope you
called the radio stations to comment on "that fabulous sound".

Guitarist, Ben-jamin' and bassist, Heartthrob Rob both celebrated birthdays
this past quarter. Ben turned 35 while Rob enjoys his last year as
thirty-something. Rob says that he will deny you ever read this by the same
time next year. Sh-Boom Sound Engineer, DJ Kent and fiancée, Christine, are
preparing for their upcoming nuptials. Christine explains that she was
really just looking for a good DJ for her wedding when she met this guy who
completely misunderstood. What's in a name anyway? Best wishes to DJ and
Christine.

The Sh-Boom vocalists entertained the crowd and performed the National
Anthem at the November 2nd rally for George W. Bush in St. Charles.
Republicans in attendance included, Bush, John Ashcroft, Kit Bond, Jack
Buck, and the baseball Cardinal's Benes brothers, Andy and Alan. It was
decided, after three recounts and a few court appeals, that the singers had
indeed made a favorable impression upon the audience.
